Not Even A Smile

Are you trying to say that you want to see me less?

That my company it just might put you under duress?

Are you trying to say that you are done for a while?

Well you don’t owe me anything….

 Not even a smile.

Are you trying to say that you have got no time for me?

That you’re sick and fed up and tired of my company?

Are you telling me that you’re about to blow it?

Well you don’t owe me anything….

And Christ do I know it!!!

I remember when you were in me

You traded your soul for a fee

Nothing gained but sadly much lost

 But at what cost?

Are you trying to say that I am now am a nothing to you?

Have you packed your bags and moved on to the next sorry sap you can screw?

Run over my feet, make me chase you for miles

Well you don’t owe me anything not even a smile.

We were pulling at the same strings

A subtle tug like an elephant brings.

 My lips around your member

 Oh now you remember.

Are you trying to say that you want to see me less?

That my company it just might put you under some stress?

And I should relax now I’m on your discarded pile?

Well you don’t owe me anything….

 Not even a smile.

Hope you enjoyed our small infamy

People saw what they wanted to see

 Left to hang, left bereft,

 But we were the best,

When were the best, we were the best.
